The South Vermillion Wildcats basketball team (Clinton, IN), was overwhelmed 50-21 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Covington Trojans (Covington, IN)
The Trojans now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seeger for a Wabash River battle on Thursday, December 14. Covington will confront a Patriots team coming off a 67-27 league loss to Parke Heritage (Rockville, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 8-3.
The Wildcats (0-10) will now prepare for their battle against Marshall (Marshall, IL). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 1-11 record. In their last battle, Marshall was overwhelmed by North Central (Farmersburg, IN), 55-26, in a non-league battle.
