Arizona High School Basketball - Sunrise Mountain routs Desert Mountain

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs (Peoria, AZ) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ), by a margin of 65-20.

The Mustangs (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Apollo (Glendale, AZ). The Hawks go into the 5A Northwest outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Apollo was trounced by Youngker (Buckeye, AZ), 43-35, in a non-league outing.

The Wolves now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to North Canyon for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 14. Desert Mountain will encounter a Rattlers squad coming off a 60-47 league loss to Fairfax (Laveen, AZ). The Rattlers record now stands at 5-5.
