Michigan High School Basketball - Lakewood can't hold off Harper Creek

The Harper Creek Beavers basketball team scored 37 points and restricted the visiting Lakewood Vikings to 32 in the Beavers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Beavers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwest for a Interstate 8 contest on Friday, December 15. Harper Creek will battle a Mounties team coming off a 52-47 non-league win over Haslett (Haslett, MI). The Mounties record now stands at 3-0.
The Vikings (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Eaton Rapids (Eaton Rapids, MI). The Greyhounds come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Eaton Rapids was nudged by Pennfield (Battle Creek, MI), 56-31, in a non-league contest.
