    The Northwest Mounties (Jackson, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Haslett Vikings (Haslett, MI), 52-47 in Tuesday's non-league test.

    The Mounties (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Harper Creek (Battle Creek, MI). The Beavers go into the Interstate 8 test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Harper Creek got by Lakewood (Lake Odessa, MI), 37-32, in a non-league test.

    The Vikings now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Williamston for a Capital Area - Red test on Friday, December 15. Haslett will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 58-27 non-league loss to Lansing Catholic (Lansing, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 1-2.
