The Hawthorne Cougars basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Varsity Opponent to 35 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Conaty-Loretto for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 13. Hawthorne will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 55-7 non-league win over Jefferson (Los Angeles, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-7.

The (47-185) will now prepare for their contest against Worcester Prep (Berlin, MD). The Mallards come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Worcester Prep was routed by The Gunston School (Centreville, MD), 39-24, in a league contest.
