The Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS (San Mateo, CA) basketball nipped the host Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA), 45-41 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The FIGHTING KNIGHTS (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Mission San Jose (Fremont, CA). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Mission San Jose was tipped by Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA), 85-28, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Piedmont Hills for a non-league test on Thursday, December 14. Homestead will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 39-25 non-league loss to Milpitas (Milpitas, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 2-3.
