The Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots basketball team (Tulare, SD), was nudged 46-44 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels (Forestburg, SD)

The Rebels now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corsica/Stickney for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 14. Sanborn Central/Woonsocket will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 45-38 league loss to Avon (Avon, SD). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-2.

The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Langford (Langford, SD). The Lions come into the B Region 1 battle with a 0-2 record.
