In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Humboldt Cubs basketball team scored a good 38-29 triumph over the Marmaton Valley Wildcats.
In their next game, the Cubs meet the Neodesha Blue Streaks (Neodesha, KS) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 15. Humboldt will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Blue Streaks enter the match with a 4-1 record after their 48-38 non-league win over West Elk (Howard, KS).
