In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Newell Irrigators basketball team scored a decisive 54-17 triumph over the Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers.
In their next game, the Irrigators meet the Kadoka Kougars (Kadoka, SD) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 15. Newell will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Kougars enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 53-18 league win over Jones County (Murdo, SD).
With the defeat, Lead-Deadwood moves to 0-3 on the year. The Golddiggers travel to Sundance (Sundance, WY) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, December 16. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 3-1.
