North Carolina High School Basketball - Metrolina Christian Academy thwarts South Charlotte Thunder

The Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors (Indian Trail, NC) basketball knocked off the host South Charlotte Thunder Thunder (Matthews, NC), 39-27 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Warriors (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Charlotte Latin notched a victory over Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC), 67-36, in a non-league test.

The Thunder now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Greater Cabarrus Stallions for a North Carolina Home Education - West test on Friday, December 15. South Charlotte Thunder will encounter a Stallions squad coming off a 69-26 league loss to South Guilford HomeSchool (High Point, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 3-7.
