University Prep Academy Golden Eagles (San Jose, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Mt. Pleasant Cardinals (San Jose, CA), 38-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, University Prep Academy upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Mountain View Academy (Mountain View, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Mountain View Academy won 37-6 in their recent league bout against Mid-Peninsula (Menlo Park, CA)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Basis Independent Silicon Valley Bobcats (San Jose, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 49-25 non-league loss to Eastside College Prep (East Palo Alto, CA).
