West Allegheny Indians (Imperial, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Taylor Allderdice Dragons (Pittsburgh, PA), 57-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Allegheny upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Indians travel to Lincoln Park Performing Arts (Midland, PA) to clash with the in a WPIAL 5A 4 bout on Wednesday, December 27. The go into the bout with a record of 3-0.

Next up, the Dragons clash with the Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Taylor Allderdice will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the game with a 4-2 record after their 56-48 non-league win over Freeport (Freeport, PA).
