South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV), 35-29 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, South Tahoe upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to McQueen (Reno, NV) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Lancers come into the bout with a record of 0-6.
Next up, the Grizzlies play the McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV) in a bout, on Saturday, December 16. Galena will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Lancers come into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 23-10 league loss to Reed (Sparks, NV).
