The Wilkes Central Eagles basketball team scored 21 points and held the host Bunker Hill Bears to 18 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Surry for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Wilkes Central will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 48-22 non-league win over South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC). The Greyhounds record now stands at 4-0.

The Bears (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against West Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, West Iredell was nudged by Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC), 20-6, in a non-league contest.
