The Lyons Lions basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds to 22 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Denver Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Lyons will meet a Thunder team coming off a 51-35 non-league win over St. Mary's Academy (Englewood, CO). The Thunder record now stands at 4-0.

The Firebirds (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Timnath (Timnath, CO). The Cubs enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Timnath triumphed over Wellington (Wellington, CO), 36-13, in a league contest.
