The Westview Wolverines (San Diego, CA) basketball nipped the host Mt. Carmel Sundevils (San Diego, CA), 38-34 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA). The Marauders go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record.
The Sundevils now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host San Marcos for a non-league test on Friday, December 15. Mt. Carmel will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 65-18 non-league loss to La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA). The Knights record now stands at 2-2.
