Illinois High School Basketball - Whitney Young holds off Westinghouse

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Whitney Young Dolphins (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Westinghouse Warriors (Chicago, IL), saw Whitney Young's basketball squad hold off Westinghouse by a tally of 42-35.

With the victory, Whitney Young improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Dolphins travel to Amundsen (Chicago, IL) to confront the Vikings in a challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Amundsen lost 38-36 in their recent league challenge against Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Warriors confront the Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL) in a challenge, on Thursday, December 14. Westinghouse will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 28-17 non-league loss to Jones (Chicago, IL).
