The Monte Vista Mustangs basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting San Leandro Pirates to 29 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bellarmine College Prep for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 13. Monte Vista will battle a Bells team coming off a 65-47 non-league win over Dublin (Dublin, CA). The Bells record now stands at 1-0.

The Pirates (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Alameda (Alameda, CA). The Hornets come into the contest with a 7-1 record.
