The Rodriguez Mustangs basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Vallejo Redhawks to 28 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Granada for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 14. Rodriguez will battle a Matadors team coming off a 48-38 non-league loss to Benicia (Benicia, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 0-2.

The Redhawks (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against McClymonds (Oakland, CA). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, McClymonds was routed by Amador Valley (Pleasanton, CA), 59-42, in a non-league contest.
