Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots (Kinston, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Spring Creek Gators (Seven Springs, NC), 63-58 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Arendell Parrott Academy upgrades its record to 9-2 on the year. The Patriots host Greenfield (Wilson, NC) to face the Knights in a NCISAA Coastal Plain match on Tuesday, January 7. The Knights enter the match with a record of 9-4.

The Gators now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Duplin for a non-league match on Friday, December 13. Spring Creek will face a Rebels squad coming off a 65-51 non-league loss to East Duplin (Beulaville, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 0-2.
