The Golden Bears (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Eagle Grove (Eagle Grove, IA). The Eagles come into the North Central challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Eagle Grove was knocked off by Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA), 65-41, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the East Sac County Raiders (Lake View, IA) in a Twin Lakes challenge, on Friday, December 13. Newell-Fonda will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 67-42 non-league loss to Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove (Ida Grove, IA).
