The Metro-East Lutheran Knights (Edwardsville, IL) basketball edged the visiting Bunker Hill Minutemen (Bunker Hill, IL), 55-48 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Knights now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Carlinville for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 14.

With the loss, Bunker Hill falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Edinburg (Edinburg, IL) to play the Wildcats in a MSM bout on Monday, December 16. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-1.
