California High School Basketball - Camarillo triumphant over Sotomayor

December 12, 2024: Los Angeles, CA 90065

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Camarillo Scorpions (Camarillo, CA) and the host Sotomayor Wolves (Los Angeles, CA), observed Camarillo's basketball team overwhelm Sotomayor by a score of 89-36.

The Scorpions (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Westlake (Westlake Village, CA). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Westlake trounced Moorpark (Moorpark, CA), 81-52, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolves encounter the Blair Vikings (Pasadena, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 13. Sotomayor will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 98-42 non-league loss to Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, CA).
