The Cavaliers (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Friendly (Fort Washington, MD). The Patriots come into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Friendly dropped by McDonough (Pomfret, MD), 61-45, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Tigers (Laurel, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Gwynn Park will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 77-66 league loss to Fairmont Heights (Capitol Heights, MD).
