In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Davidson Day Patriots basketball team scored a good 65-51 triumph over the Providence Day Chargers.
The Patriots (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Christ School (Arden, NC). The Greenies go into the non-league contest with a 9-0 record. In their last contest, Christ School topped Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC), 66-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Chargers battle the Concord Academy Eagles (Concord, NC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 14. Providence Day will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 13-0 record after their 76-40 league win over SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC).
