The Fresta Valley Christian Pioneers basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Mt. Carmel Christian Academy Warriors to 43 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Pioneers now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Mountain View Christian Academy for a non-league game on Friday, December 20.

With the loss, Mt. Carmel Christian Academy falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Regents (Charlottesville, VA) to confront the Lions in a Virginia Christian - North game on Monday, December 16. The Lions go into the game with a record of 4-0. Regents won 52-38 in their recent non-league game against Temple Christian (Madison Heights, VA)
