West Virginia High School Basketball - Lewis County can't hold off Preston

Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV), 63-58 in a league match.

With the victory, Preston advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Knights travel to Riverside (Belle, WV) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 0-0.

The Minutemen now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Robert C. Byrd for a Big Ten match on Tuesday, December 17.
