West Warriors (Torrance, CA) fans went home pleased Thursday as they observed their basketball team overwhelm the visiting Paramount Pirates (Paramount, CA), 59-35 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Verbum Dei Jesuit (Los Angeles, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Verbum Dei Jesuit was routed by Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA), 72-52, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Pirates battle the Centennial Apaches (Compton, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 13. Paramount will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Apaches come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 68-45 non-league loss to Aveson Global Leadership Academy (Altadena, CA).
