The Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots (Kinston, NC) basketball toppled the visiting Spring Creek Gators (Seven Springs, NC), 40-25 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Greenfield for a NCISAA Coastal Plain bout on Tuesday, January 7.

With the loss, Spring Creek falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Gators travel to North Duplin (Calypso, NC) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Friday, December 13. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 3-2. North Duplin lost 46-30 in their recent non-league bout against East Duplin (Beulaville, NC)
