The Calvary Christian Cougar basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Raleigh Christian Academy Eagles to 29 in the Cougar league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougar now have a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Asheboro Hybrid Academy for a non-league game on Friday, December 13. Calvary Christian will confront a Warriors team coming off a 42-33 non-league loss to Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Raleigh Christian Academy falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Hilltop Christian (Fuquay-Varina, NC) to confront the Chargers in a non-league game on Monday, December 16. The Chargers go into the game with a record of 6-5. Hilltop Christian won 29-10 in their recent non-league game against Living Water Christian (Jacksonville, NC)
