In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Esko Eskomos basketball team scored a big 59-25 triumph over the Carlton/Wrenshall .
The Eskomos (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Pierz (Pierz, MN). The Pioneers go into the AA Section 7 contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Pierz was trounced by Foley (Foley, MN), 71-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the battle the McGregor Mercuries (McGregor, MN) in a A Section 7 challenge, on Monday, December 16. Carlton/Wrenshall will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Mercuries come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 49-44 league win over South Ridge (Culver, MN).
