North Carolina High School Basketball - Hough crushes Cuthbertson

December 12, 2024: Waxhaw, NC 28173

The Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) basketball crushed the host Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC), 55-31 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Huskies now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they host North Mecklenburg for a 3A/4A Queen City bout on Monday, December 16. Hough will play a Vikings team coming off a 58-24 non-league win over Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Cuthbertson falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Parkwood (Monroe, NC) to play the Wolf Pack in a non-league bout on Friday, December 13. The Wolf Pack go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Parkwood won 45-40 in their recent non-league bout against Sun Valley (Monroe, NC)
