With the victory, Wayne County advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Cardinals travel to McCreary Central (Stearns, KY) to face the Raiders in a District 48 match on Tuesday, December 17. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 1-4. McCreary Central lost 60-32 in their recent non-league match against Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY)

The Jaguars now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Powell County for a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. East Jessamine will face a Pirates squad coming off a 52-41 non-league loss to Sayre (Lexington, KY). The Pirates record now stands at 0-5.
