In Thursday's league contest, the visiting South Fork Ponies basketball team scored a good 53-41 win over the Mt. Olive Wildcats.

The Ponies (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Warrensburg-Latham (Warrensburg, IL). The Cardinals come into the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Warrensburg-Latham dropped by Central A & M (Moweaqua, IL), 68-65, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly Vipers (New Berlin, IL) in a MSM contest, on Wednesday, December 18. Mt. Olive will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Vipers come into the contest with a 7-3 record after their 31-24 non-league win over Auburn (Auburn, IL).
