The McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA) basketball were winner over the visiting Fort LeBoeuf Bison (Waterford, PA), 57-41 in Thursday's league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Fairview for a non-league bout on Monday, December 16. McDowell will play a Tigers team coming off a 35-23 non-league loss to Erie (Erie, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Fort LeBoeuf falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Bison travel to Warren (Warren, PA) to play the Dragons in a District 10 Region 6 bout on Monday, December 16. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Warren lost 52-34 in their recent non-league bout against Northwestern (Albion, PA)
