The Jackson-Olin Mustangs basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers to 33 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Parker for a 6A Area 9 game on Tuesday, January 7.

With the loss, John Carroll Catholic falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Woodlawn (Birmingham, AL) to confront the Colonels in a non-league game on Friday, December 13. The Colonels go into the game with a record of 2-9. Woodlawn lost 44-35 in their recent non-league game against Minor (Adamsville, AL)
