In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Poplar Bluff Mules basketball team scored a good 44-34 triumph over the Scott County Central Braves.
The Mules (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame (Cape Girardeau, MO). The Bulldogs go into the Southeast Missouri contest with a 2-1 record.
In their next game, the Braves confront the Saxony Lutheran Crusaders (Jackson, MO) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Scott County Central will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Crusaders go into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 51-33 non-league loss to Central (Cape Girardeau, MO).
