The Lynden Lions basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Squalicum Storm to 14 in the Lions non-league win on Thursday.

The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Tahoma (Maple Valley, WA). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Tahoma trounced Mt. Rainier (Des Moines, WA), 63-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Storm battle the Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Squalicum will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 46-32 non-league loss to Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA).
