In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles soccer squad scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Maryvale Prep Matador.
The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Phoenix Christian (Phoenix, AZ). The Cougars go into the 2A Valley outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Phoenix Christian was overwhelmed by Rancho Solano Prep (Scottsdale, AZ), 9-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Matador confront the Cicero Prep Academy Centurions (Scottsdale, AZ) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, December 17. Maryvale Prep will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Centurions go into the outing with a 1-4 record after their 11-0 non-league win over Santa Cruz Valley (Eloy, AZ).
