The Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes (Summerville, SC) basketball edged the host Colleton County Cougars (Walterboro, SC), 43-40 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Swamp Foxes now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lucy Beckham for a non-league bout on Friday, December 13. Ashley Ridge will play a Bengals team coming off a 36-29 non-league loss to Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC). The Bengals record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Colleton County falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Battery Creek (Beaufort, SC) to play the Dolphins in a non-league bout on Monday, December 16. The Dolphins go into the bout with a record of 0-4.
