California High School Basketball - El Capitan overwhelms Immanuel

December 12, 2024: Merced, CA 95348

The El Capitan Gauchos basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Immanuel Eagles to 36 in the Gauchos non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Gauchos now have a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Dos Palos for a non-league game on Friday, December 13. El Capitan will confront a Broncos team coming off a 48-14 non-league win over Farmersville (Farmersville, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Immanuel falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Sierra Pacific (Hanford, CA) to confront the Golden Bears in a game on Friday, January 10. The Golden Bears go into the game with a record of 2-0.
