The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Marshall Barristers (Los Angeles, CA) and the host Sotomayor Wolves (Los Angeles, CA), observed Marshall's basketball team overwhelm Sotomayor by a margin of 77-56.

The Barristers (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Village Christian was trounced by Oak Park (Oak Park, CA), 73-41, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolves battle the Torres Toros (Los Angeles, CA) in a challenge, on Monday, January 6. Sotomayor will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Toros come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 60-17 non-league loss to Lincoln (Los Angeles, CA).
