California High School Basketball - Bert Corona Charter knocked off by Valor Academy

In Friday's non-league test, the Valor Academy (Van Nuys, CA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Bert Corona Charter Knights (Pacoima, CA), by a score of 59-42.

Next, the encounter the Magnolia Science Academy Reseda Warriors (Reseda, CA) in a Central Valley test, on Wednesday, December 17. Valor Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 3-3 record after their 84-32 non-league loss to WISH Academy (Los Angeles, CA).

With the loss, Bert Corona Charter falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Lakeview Charter (Sylmar, CA) to encounter the Lions in a North Valley challenge on Wednesday, December 17. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Lakeview Charter lost 63-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Fulton (Van Nuys, CA)
