The Dos Pueblos Chargers basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Capistrano Valley Cougars to 52 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Chargers now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rio Mesa for a Channel outing on Tuesday, December 16. Dos Pueblos will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 62-29 league loss to San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-3.

The Cougars (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against Ventura (Ventura, CA). The Cougars come into the non-league outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Ventura held off Buena (Ventura, CA), 66-57, in a league outing.
