In Friday's non-league contest, the host Van Horn Falcons basketball squad scored a decisive 73-35 victory over the Central Blue Eagles.
With the victory, Van Horn upgrades its record to 6-1 on the year. The Falcons travel to Smithville (Smithville, MO) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 16. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 6-1. Smithville won 69-62 in their recent non-league match against Oak Grove (Oak Grove, MO)
The Blue Eagles now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plattsburg for a non-league match on Monday, December 15. Central will face a Tigers squad coming off a 42-34 league loss to Lawson (Lawson, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.
