Illinois High School Basketball - Chicago Mt. Carmel can't get by De La Salle

The Chicago Mt. Carmel Caravan basketball team (Chicago, IL), was tipped 54-48 in Friday's league contest with the host De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL)

The Meteors (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Kohala (Kapaau, HI). The Cowboys come into the non-league contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Kohala edged Hawaii Prep (Kamuela, HI), 55-21, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Caravan battle the Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL) in a non-league contest, on Sunday, December 14. Chicago Mt. Carmel will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 7-0 record after their 78-32 league win over Fenton (Bensenville, IL).
