The Eagles (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Big Sandy (Dallardsville, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Big Sandy was nudged by Centerville (Groveton, TX), 46-39, in a non-league battle.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woden for a 2A Region III District 24 battle on Friday, January 2.
