Texas High School Basketball - Grace Community succumbs to East Chambers

December 12, 2025: Winnie, TX 77665

In Friday's non-league test, the East Chambers Buccaneers (Winnie, TX) basketball squad defeated the visiting Grace Community Cougars (Tyler, TX), by a final score of 76-67.

Next, the Buccaneers clash with the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears (Orange, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 16. East Chambers will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Bears come into the test with a 1-9 record after their 52-47 non-league loss to Sabine Pass (Sabine Pass, TX).

With the loss, Grace Community falls to 13-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Wells (Wells, TX) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Monday, December 15. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Wells lost 53-39 in their recent non-league bout against West Rusk (New London, TX)
