The Tulelake Honkers basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host Ferndale Wildcats to 62 in the Honkers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Honkers now have a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Modoc for a non-league game on Saturday, December 13. Tulelake will confront a Braves team coming off a 59-50 non-league loss to Hayfork (Hayfork, CA). The Braves record now stands at 1-5.

The Wildcats (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against Big Valley (Bieber, CA). The Cardinals enter the non-league outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Big Valley was defeated by Hoopa Valley (Hoopa, CA), 67-22, in a non-league outing.
