Fort Worth THESA Riders (Fort Worth, TX) backers went home thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team thwart the host Polytechnic Parrots (Fort Worth, TX), 68-48 in a non-league contest.
The Riders (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Azle (Azle, TX). The Hornets go into the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Azle topped North Forney (Forney, TX), 62-48, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Parrots battle the Trimble Tech Bulldogs (Fort Worth, TX) in a 5A Region I District 7 contest, on Thursday, December 18. Polytechnic will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 3-11 record after their 42-40 non-league loss to Jefferson (Dallas, TX).
